About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all functions within the engagement team
  • Deliver positive participant interactions, cost-effective operations, participant retention, and organic growth within existing accounts
  • Create and implement strategic plans to improve participant satisfaction, identify service opportunities, and increase Contexture’s value proposition
  • Anticipate business needs of major accounts and deliver measurable, customer-centric solutions
  • Develop and manage business development and engagement strategies
  • Lead the team to meet annual and individual sales goals
  • Manage and monitor the engagement budget and provide regular performance reporting
  • Support the annual plan and budget with the Vice President of Business Development and other departments
  • Use market research and customer feedback to identify additional opportunities
  • Expand current participant contract scope and develop retention and re-engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with Client Support Services to resolve issues and provide provider technical assistance
  • Develop workflows and transition processes across pre-sales, contracting, finance, and post-sale client management
  • Maintain understanding of customer needs and behaviors and develop participation strategies for the HIE
  • Coordinate account-management priorities, initiatives, campaigns, and targeted messaging with Communications and Marketing
  • Establish account distribution, prioritization, resource assignment, and sales incentive strategies with the executive team
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Maintain accurate participant lists, reports, participant data, credentialing and verification records, and database coding
  • Support compliance with information-blocking, privacy, and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
  • Provide accurate information for marketing materials and publications
  • Supervise assigned staff, including recruitment, training, and onboarding
  • Provide leadership for strategic-plan implementation and other related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Local residency in Denver or Grand Junction, Colorado
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales functions and/or program development and execution
  • Minimum of 1 year of program management over a team of sales staff
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management/Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Information technology experience required
  • Broad knowledge of healthcare providers and organization types
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent high-priority tasks
  • Understanding of healthcare providers’ business and clinical needs and technology solutions
  • Experience working with senior-level executives
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, public relations, written reporting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in remote work environments and in teams
  • Ability to plan, organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Previous experience designing compensation plans for sales teams
  • Ability to coach, develop, train, inspire, and motivate sales teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience creating sales campaigns aligned with corporate strategy
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales funnel and closing service contracts
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint); Visio preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools preferred
  • HIE and HIT implementation experience and knowledge preferred
  • Familiarity with Arizona and Colorado healthcare landscapes preferred
  • Project management certification a plus
  • Ability to comply with laws, regulations, organizational policies, and compliance expectations for sensitive information
  • Ability to periodically drive to clients, conferences, and/or events
