About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support state and federal grants and Health Information Exchange offerings at Contexture
  • Liaise with community partners to achieve grant deliverables, participant goals, and organizational goals
  • Consult in person and virtually with participants, long-term care facilities, and hospitals on quality improvement efforts and EHR workflows
  • Prepare, schedule, and facilitate quality improvement meetings using process mapping, fishbone diagrams, and PDSAs
  • Plan, schedule, and estimate grant deliverables for assigned participants
  • Provide EHR vendor communication, mapping, and workflow support
  • Assist participants with EHR selection, adoption, migration, data validation, and workflows
  • Support clinical quality measures, registry reports, and MIPS reports
  • Assist with telehealth, patient portal communication, and Health Information Exchange product adoption
  • Analyze EHR data quality and provide targeted technical assistance to improve data accuracy and completeness
  • Support documentation, billing, workflow redesign, effective EHR use, and technology integration
  • Serve as a product owner or scrum master when needed
  • Guide participants on budgeting for value-based contracts
  • Identify business development opportunities and maintain positive participant relationships
  • Monitor healthcare legislation, reporting requirements, and the evolving healthcare landscape
  • Attend learning collaboratives and webinars related to grants
  • Collaborate with community partners and Contexture operations and technical teams
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Local residency in Phoenix, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado
  • Minimum of 5+ years of healthcare experience in a clinical, administration, or technology environment
  • 2+ years of Quality Improvement methodologies desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience working with clinicians and hospitals on quality improvement efforts and EHR workflows
  • Experience working with EHRs and EHR vendors
  • Project management experience, including agile sprint methodologies and project management software
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Alternative Payment Models, Accountable Care Organizations, value-based payment reform, quality reporting, Clinical Quality Measures, Electronic Health Record functions, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and Health Information Exchange
  • Experience with CQM data definitions and value sets
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to periodically drive to clients, conferences, and/or events
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, including PHI, PII, and financial information, in compliance with applicable laws and policies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
