About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a six-month, predominantly virtual training program covering the tire industry, Continental, sales strategy, and customers
  • Gain exposure to different Continental departments and contribute through special project assignments
  • Participate in sales and management courses from third-party training providers
  • Travel with current field sales managers when conditions allow to gain hands-on experience
  • Build relationships with and support Continental retail and/or wholesale customers
  • Achieve incremental annual sales growth in the assigned territory
  • Conduct in-person customer meetings and training to grow share of account
  • Analyze customer and market conditions to identify sales opportunities
  • Assist sales managers with sales strategy development and execution
  • Determine weekly travel schedules based on territory strategy and individual goals
  • Coordinate product launches and consumer promotions with customers using digital and point-of-sale marketing materials
  • Plan and attend customer events, including NCAA basketball games, Major League Soccer games, and BMW Performance Driving School

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or completion of a Bachelor's degree by August 2027
  • Must be open to relocation within 6–8 months of start date
  • Ability to travel over 50%
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Sales-related internship experience is an additional way to stand out
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or Communications is an additional way to stand out
