About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop outcome-based selling skills training for the Advanced Wound Care Business Unit
- Develop onboarding, Convatec Way of Selling, advanced account selling skills, new product launch, and hands-on learning reinforcement programs
- Facilitate Sales Leadership programs
- Build sales capability training for CRM, business analytics, Showpad, and sales insights
- Assess learning needs and recommend innovative approaches to improve content and field application
- Create and deliver learning solutions using digital e-learning and other modalities
- Develop project plans, timelines, tasks, and deliverables for training initiatives
- Ensure learning is actionable through demonstration, practice, and reinforcement of sales skills
- Evaluate and enhance training to ensure sales force readiness and capability
- Partner with sales leadership, field sales trainers, regulatory, marketing, regional clinicians, corporate training, clinical, and other stakeholders
- Ensure training content complies with Medical Regulatory and Legal processes and Convatec guidelines
- Orchestrate product and clinical learning with local marketers and clinicians rather than conducting it directly
- Lead virtual and classroom learning events and support training room setup for onsite programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading selling skills training at national sales meetings
- Minimum 2 years' experience in field sales in medical device or healthcare services industry
- Experience with learning management systems
- Experience in training video design and creation
- Experience partnering with marketers on product launch selling capability
- Sales training leadership experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred
- Articulate 360 authoring software expertise and learning reinforcement experience is a plus
- Pre/Post/Needs assessment expertise using Qualtrics or similar software
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the entire Microsoft Suite and learning software programs
- Strong facilitation, training design and delivery, presentation, interpersonal, communication, relationship management, and project management skills
- Expertise in clinical medical device domains is a plus
