About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the Head of Distribution
  • Work closely with the Underwriting team and Director of Cyber Risk Solutions
  • Align strategy, engagement, and connectivity around Converge’s wholesale and partnered insurance strategy
  • Identify new opportunities, build relationships, and drive strategic engagement primarily in the West region
  • Develop regional business plans to drive growth, optimize products and programs, generate new opportunities, and retain renewals
  • Conduct planned brokerage visits within an assigned territory to develop new accounts and service existing accounts
  • Review broker performance and improve broker relationships with Converge
  • Reinforce Converge’s product appetite, coverage options, pricing, claims handling, and security service capabilities
  • Support broker satisfaction and connect brokerage contacts with underwriting, claims, and security services resources
  • Monitor performance, identify trends and partner alignment, and guide brokers during periodic reviews
  • Support partnered insurance program initiatives from lead generation through go-to-market strategy
  • Travel up to 25%, depending on location, with focus on the Southeast

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and underwriting, placing commercial cyber insurance and/or technology or cybersecurity
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts and terms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
