About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain practice descriptions, brochures, and digital biographies
  • Maintain practice-specific contact lists and relationship data in the CRM
  • Coordinate assembly and distribution of marketing kits and attendee materials for practice-led events and initiatives
  • Pull recurring reports tracking practice group activities, pitch volume, and pipeline status
  • Input matter details and credentials into the firm's experience database
  • Maintain tracking of BU-specific sponsorships, deadlines, and required deliverables
  • Coordinate updates to partner biographies and external legal directory profiles with attorneys
  • Provide tactical support for large-scale business unit projects, including data collection for Chambers submissions
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
  • Act as part of the Business Unit Marketing Team, serving as a strategic bridge between practice group leadership and Marketing & Client Development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
  • Available to work overtime, as required
  • 3+ years applicable experience in the field (e.g., marketing or business development)
  • Prior professional services industry experience and/or B2B marketing experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Quality and consistency focus
  • Digital-first approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities
  • Ability to work with a team to set goals, drive projects, and achieve outcomes
