About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end mapping of specific client journeys
  • Translate business-unit marketing plans into detailed tactical flows across the client lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain standardized journey templates for repeatable, high-quality execution
  • Ensure campaign tactics are technically and narratively connected to the next logical client-journey step
  • Monitor campaign health with the Insights team and make real-time adjustments to creative, targeting, and cadence
  • Define and implement segmentation and dynamic-content rules for campaign personalization
  • Partner with business-unit marketers to validate journeys against business and practice-group needs
  • Work daily with the Digital Experience team to align technical journey setup with strategic intent
  • Lead UAT for complex multi-touch journeys and verify logic branches, tracking links, and automation triggers
  • Synthesize campaign insights into actionable stakeholder feedback and post-mortem recommendations
  • Coordinate with the content team on campaign assets and ensure assets are staged for execution teams
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and monitor compliance with work hours and firm and department policies
  • Manage staffing coverage and review/process time logs and time-off requests
  • Support business professional development and continued educational opportunities
  • Participate in hiring, performance appraisals, counseling, termination, and other employee lifecycle events with the immediate supervisor and central HR
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours as required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • 7+ years of applicable experience in the field
  • 2+ years of exempt/management experience in relevant roles
  • Demonstrated success designing and mapping customer journeys across the client lifecycle
  • Experience advising on marketing/channel mix to support and optimize end-to-end buying journeys
  • Advanced data storytelling skills
  • Ability to distill insights and identify opportunities to optimize campaign/channel effectiveness
  • Hands-on experience with CRM, web, orchestration, analytics, and project management technologies
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience
  • Preferred: Prior legal industry or professional services experience
