About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, business objectives and key performance indicators
- Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and actionable insights
- Translate complex datasets into clear, engaging and easy-to-understand visualisations and reports
- Support data-driven decision-making across operational, commercial and strategic initiatives
- Extract, transform and validate data from multiple sources
- Optimise data models, Power Query transformations and reporting performance
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and adherence to reporting standards
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Support the development of a data-driven culture by promoting reporting best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of proven experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytics-focused role
- Strong Power BI development experience, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query and report design
- Experience integrating data from multiple systems
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data warehousing technologies, or similar modern data platforms
- Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate findings clearly and compellingly
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs
- Experience within a professional services, financial services or accountancy environment is advantageous
- Experience building semantic models and supporting self-service reporting initiatives is advantageous
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and reporting standards is advantageous
- Experience using Salesforce is advantageous
