About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, develop, and grow the CooperVision MiSight product portfolio with existing and new customers
- Build professional sales relationships with assigned customers using a consultative selling style
- Conduct daily in-person and virtual client interactions
- Prospect for new business
- Establish and execute an effective call cycle and territory business plan
- Meet and exceed sales goals for the assigned territory
- Use sales, marketing, and educational resources to gain practitioner acceptance
- Analyze industry, competition, customer needs, practice dynamics, and key metrics to adjust growth plans
- Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
- Participate in state, regional, and national optical shows, including weekends when requested
- Submit CRM call reports, expense reports, territory reviews, and other administrative reports
- Collaborate with departments to create practice management tools and materials for eye care practitioners
- Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time, with overnight travel as needed
- Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for future sponsorship
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any industry
- Tangible product sales experience desirable
- Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Daily use of CRM to report customer interactions and analyze products, account sales, and territory growth
- Excellent organizational skills and territory management
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams and other departments
- Proficient verbal, written, and reading communication skills
- Ability to plan and execute internal and external presentations
- Demonstrated knowledge of the contact lens market and CooperVision MiSight product portfolio
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets
- Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passing a background check
- Valid driver’s license, minimum insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record
- NCLE certification preferred
