About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, develop, and grow the CooperVision MiSight product portfolio with existing and new customers
- Build professional sales relationships with assigned customers using a consultative selling style
- Conduct daily in-person and virtual client interactions and new business prospecting
- Establish and execute an effective call cycle and territory business plan
- Meet and exceed sales goals for the assigned territory
- Use sales, marketing, and educational resources to drive practitioner acceptance
- Analyze industry, competition, portfolio, customer needs, priorities, and practice dynamics
- Regularly analyze key metrics and modify growth plans
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours
- Participate in state, regional, and national optical shows, including weekends when requested
- Submit CRM call reports, expense reports, and territory reviews on time
- Collaborate with departments to create value-added practice management tools and materials for eye care practitioners
- Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time, with overnight travel as needed
- Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States permanently and ongoing without future employer sponsorship
- 3+ years of consistently exceeding sales targets in medical device sales preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Daily CRM use for customer interaction reporting and analysis of products, account sales, and territory growth
- Excellent organizational skills and territory management
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
- Proficient verbal, written, and reading communication skills
- Ability to interface with other departments
- Ability to plan and execute presentations for customer groups
- Knowledge of the contact lens market and CooperVision MiSight product portfolio
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when handling diagnostic contact lens sets
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passing a background check
- Valid driver's license, required insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record
- NCLE certification preferred
