About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate Dynamics 365 solutions and supporting technologies; identify gaps and recommend improvements
Review service, enhancement, and system improvement requests with business stakeholders
Define functional and system requirements and document current and future-state business processes
Ensure D365 configurations, ISV solutions, and integrations meet requirements and security, compliance, and integration standards
Develop test strategies, scenarios, scripts, and use cases
Analyze test results and resolve defects, configuration issues, and interoperability gaps
Oversee ERP projects, workstreams, or phases, coordinating activities, schedules, and resources
Contribute to ERP roadmap planning and develop functional strategies and implementation plans
Support Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and other end-user functional processes
Perform application administration, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and metrics gathering
Lead testing for enhancements, new functionality, and bug fixes
Provide functional expertise and resolve escalated issues
Serve as escalation point for business managers, key users, and global applications staff
Manage IT training curriculum and materials and drive technology adoption
Collaborate with technical managers, workstream leads, and functional leads on solutions
Monitor functional service requests to meet SLAs and customer satisfaction
Manage ISV functionality changes, issue resolution, and enhancements
Hire, mentor, and manage staff performance, feedback, and annual reviews
Develop IT organization budgets
Ensure staff training on existing and new software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
5+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports of functional and technical resources
8+ years of experience in ERP design, development, customization, implementation, integration, and administration, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions
Experience with full life-cycle implementations of D365 F&O and managing production support teams
5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in large teams in Microsoft Power Platform
Hands-on pricing expertise; Flintfox ISV experience is advantageous
Advanced Warehouse Management implementation experience, particularly in large-scale warehouse environments
Experience with ISVs such as NMB and SPS
Process manufacturing experience and understanding of formulas, co/by-product handling, and formula-based production processes
Strong EDI knowledge and hands-on EDI message/error mapping and troubleshooting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Vendor management experience, including management of ISVs deployed on D365 F&O
Interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
Expert knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O and working knowledge of Microsoft D365 CRM
Adherence to standards, best practices, and delivery processes
Communication and presentation skills
Data cleansing, verification, and migration experience
Knowledge of master data management and data quality best practices
Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
Medical Devices or Life Sciences industry experience is a strong plus
Highly regulated industry experience is a strong plus
Applicable Microsoft D365 certifications
