About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, design and deliver learning curriculum for new hires and existing customer-facing colleagues
- Develop, implement and facilitate learning programs covering clinical data, promotional messaging, marketing, business acumen, selling skills and account management
- Develop high-quality training content with internal teams or external vendors within budget and on schedule
- Lead strategic projects supporting the field sales team, including product launches, marketing directives, indication launches and positioning initiatives
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical, Medical, HR, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance teams to integrate cross-functional input into training
- Create asynchronous home-study and synchronous live-classroom learning environments
- Apply ADDIE methodology across CooperCollege learning, product certification and continuing education programs
- Submit training materials in Veeva for approval and update materials before expiration
- Collaborate with Marketing to support implementation of marketing strategies
- Collaborate with sales leadership to support sales targets and year-over-year growth
- Lead and train the Certified Regional Trainer team, including monthly meetings and train-the-trainer sessions
- Establish learning objectives and evaluate training effectiveness, modifying programs as needed
- Support international training as needed
- Execute MBOs aligned with business cases and annual objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in learning and development, medical or pharmaceutical sales with a background in women’s health and buy & bill products
- Proven understanding of selling skills, adult learning principles, and disease state knowledge
- Ability to learn new disease states and product knowledge quickly
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 50%; some nights, weekends and overnight travel may be required
- Occasional international travel may be required
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Expertise in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication skills in live and virtual settings
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Strong platform, presentation and facilitation skills
- Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have a designated home office space
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs of equipment or models
- Must be able to stand for 4-hour presentations, sit and bend knees for product demonstrations
