About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day administration of equity compensation programs, including new awards, exercises, cancellations, and other transactions
- Respond to employee inquiries about equity programs and policies
- Partner with payroll, legal, finance, tax, HR, and external vendors
- Prepare routine and ad hoc equity reports for internal stakeholders
- Support employee communications, training materials, and educational resources
- Maintain accurate employee and equity data in the equity administration system
- Coordinate with plan administrators and transfer agents on operations and issue resolution
- Assist with Section 16 reports, including Forms 3, 4, and 5, and other equity disclosures
- Support ESPP enrollment, contribution changes, and quarterly purchase processes
- Assist with U.S. and international equity-plan tax compliance
- Reconcile equity activity across internal systems, transfer agents, and broker records
- Support equity disclosures in 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and the annual proxy statement
- Assist with materials for Board and Compensation Committee meetings
- Support audit requests, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and workflow enhancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience administering equity award types across multiple jurisdictions, including RSUs, PSUs, stock options, and ESPPs
- Familiarity with equity plan administration platforms and transfer agents; UBS Plan Admin Pro and E*TRADE experience preferred
- Working knowledge of SEC filings related to equity compensation, including Section 16 filings and proxy disclosures
- Understanding of U.S. federal and state taxation of equity compensation and general awareness of global equity tax considerations
- Basic understanding of accounting principles related to equity compensation
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with employees and stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Sensitivity to confidentiality requirements and employee privacy regulations, including GDPR
- Working knowledge of SOX controls and controlled environments
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting global equity compensation programs within a public company environment
- Hands-on experience with equity administration systems and cross-functional coordination
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP Level 2 or 3) preferred
