Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze business requirements and processes in the Swiss health and accident insurance environment, and develop suitable solutions together with business departments and IT specialists
Manage requirements throughout the entire requirements life cycle—from analysis and conceptual design through specification and implementation
Further develop and optimize insurance applications and business processes, particularly in claims processing and automated invoice auditing
Ensure the functional and technical quality of systems, and support the analysis and resolution of defects
Configure and maintain applications, and ensure that reference and tariff data is kept up to date
Contribute to customer projects and support release planning and rollouts in collaboration with customers, business departments, development teams, and system vendors
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in the Swiss insurance market and derive the necessary actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed education in business information systems, computer science, or a commercial field combined with a strong affinity for IT
Several years of professional experience in the Swiss health and/or accident insurance sector
In-depth knowledge of claims processes under the Swiss Health Insurance Act (KVG) and/or the Swiss Insurance Contract Act (VVG), ideally complemented by experience with tariff systems
Experience analyzing, designing, and specifying business requirements (Requirements Engineering / Business Analysis)
Knowledge of insurance applications, ideally Adcubum Syrius or Sumex
Experience configuring applications; knowledge of SQL is an advantage
Knowledge of testing, quality assurance, or release management is a plus
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style, along with enthusiasm for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Excellent written and spoken German and a professional demeanor
