About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Further development of the existing archive solution
- Modernization of the software stack toward a highly available application landscape based on Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices
- Implementation and further development of business requirements
- Operation, maintenance, and optimization of existing applications
- Close collaboration with business departments, Product Owners, and development teams in an agile environment
- Supporting the modernization of the existing system landscape and the digital transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java EE
- Solid experience developing and maintaining backend systems
- Good DevOps skills and an interest in modern cloud and container technologies
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Knowledge of SAFe and Scrum; certifications are an advantage
- Ability to respond flexibly to new requirements and actively contribute to change
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
