About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the release and pickup of vehicles by communicating with body shops, vehicle owners, and insurance companies
- Reach out to body shops to confirm vehicle pick-up details and obtain vehicle release authorization
- Talk to vehicle owners to obtain necessary releases, arrange transport, coordinate 3-way calls when needed, and assist with personal item removal
- Use the “DeCode This” tool to search VINs and gather vehicle information
- Keep accurate notes in the system about each vehicle and all interactions
- Meet daily performance goals, including making 100+ calls and processing 60+ live lots
- Participate in weekly team meetings via Teams
- Follow all Copart policies and guidelines
- Assist teammates and perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of one year office support experience in a customer service role
- High school diploma or GED
- Great communication skills, including phone communication and clear, concise writing
- Typing speed of 45 WPM
- Familiarity with basic 10-key
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Professional virtual appearance
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Must be able to work occasional overtime
- Bilingual skills are a plus
