Key responsibilities & impact

Build Copia's voice and own PR, analyst relations, executive thought leadership and social
Work directly with the CEO and co-founder at the center of marketing
Build and run the Gartner, Forrester and IDC analyst-relations program, including briefings, inquiries and research submissions
Set a steady news cadence across cybersecurity, industrial and business press
Comment quickly when OT attacks hit the headlines
Develop founders and leadership as recognized voices through bylines, ghostwritten posts, speaking slots, podcasts and media training
Lead communications for product launches, funding, partner and customer news
Own Copia's LinkedIn presence and support employee advocacy
Turn customer wins into case studies, references and press-ready stories
Select and manage PR/AR partners and report on share of voice, coverage, analyst mentions and influenced pipeline
Audit messaging, coverage and analyst relationships and present a 12-month communications and analyst-relations plan
Establish regular analyst briefings and launch communications plans
Media-train founders and secure executive bylines and speaking slots
Launch a consistent LinkedIn program for the company and its leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in B2B tech communications, ideally cybersecurity or enterprise infrastructure, including senior roles at high-growth companies
A track record in analyst relations, such as leading a Magic Quadrant or Wave submission and moving a company's placement
Strong relationships with security and tech press, and judgment about when to push a story and when to hold
Experience ghostwriting for executives and building their profiles
Comfort being a team of one at first: writing the release, pitching the reporter and running the briefing yourself
An integrated view of PR, AR, social, content and customer stories
Interest in OT, industrial cybersecurity and the people who keep plants running
Travel up to 20% for events, press and analyst days
