About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple company accounts in Australia and Canada
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices, verifying coding, and arranging timely payments
- Process and reconcile company credit card transactions from digital expense management platforms
- Collect supporting invoices and ensure expenses are correctly recorded
- Support payroll processing for Australian and international employees
- Maintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
- Assist with month-end close, including preparing journals, prepayments, and accruals
- Support financial reporting
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments
- Prepare and issue invoices when required
- Work closely with the Finance Manager and broader team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years' experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and payroll processing
- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in SaaS or tech is a bonus
- Candidates must be in Perth, Western Australia; remote candidates will not be considered
