About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver a best-in-class welcome for new and returning students, explaining studio etiquette, class formats, intensity levels, and membership benefits
  • Build warm relationships with students and teachers
  • Assist students with retail, mat/towel rentals, water, and yoga product purchases; upsell when appropriate
  • Manage class waitlists and smooth check-in flow
  • Communicate studio updates, promotions, and facility issues to teachers and the Studio Experience Team
  • Reconcile rosters, verify charges, support student needs, and complete roster close-out processes
  • Support retail sales through sizing help, product recommendations, and purchase decisions
  • Maintain merchandise presentation, handle markdowns, and place new products on the sales floor
  • Maintain practice rooms, reset props, clean mirrors, and ensure studio readiness
  • Clean, sanitize, and stock locker rooms
  • Serve as studio key holder and perform daily opening and closing procedures
  • Prepare the studio for the first class by unlocking it, setting up lights and audio, and ensuring a welcoming environment
  • Secure the studio after final classes, reconcile POS, tidy rooms, and restock as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passion for wellness, fitness, or yoga
  • Warm, welcoming, high-energy demeanor
  • Customer focused and community oriented
  • Reliable, responsible, and consistent
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Confidence and accuracy in running the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Preferred SET experience at CorePower
  • Hospitality background, including fitness studios, salons, coffee shops, or hotels
  • Retail sales experience
  • Early morning, evening, weekend, and/or holiday availability depending on studio needs
  • Part-time availability; hours vary by studio schedule
