Studio Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and maintaining health and safety standards
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment goals
- Coordinate operations and teaching support for 18–29 hours per week in the studio
- Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present, up to 20 hours per week
- Maintain studio supply inventory, cleanliness, locker room amenities, towels, and programming materials
- Engage with the studio community, greet students, serve as an ambassador of yoga, and foster community at the front desk
- Support teachers with POS and pre/post-class duties
- Execute health, safety, cleanliness, heat, humidity, music, and functionality protocols
- Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students
- Clean the studio, stock amenities, and ensure cleanliness protocols are followed
- Interview, hire, schedule, train, discipline, and terminate Studio Experience Team employees as needed
- Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members
- Coordinate POS, online reservation, subbing, HRIS, and help desk systems
- Support late-cancel fees, waitlists, student support, training, facilities tickets, and operational follow-up
- Teach a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and provide additional subbing as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Value
- Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required
- Experience in Customer Service required
- Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize
- Availability for morning, evening, weekend and some holiday schedules; flexibility required
- Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio
- Must commit to a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week in studio
- Must teach a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes
- Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred
- Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred
- College (BA/BS) preferred
