About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the operations of a CorePower Yoga studio and oversee day-to-day processes
- Coach and inspire the CorePower Yoga classroom experience
- Create a premium, clean, safe, sensory in-studio yoga experience
- Build, grow, and lead teams of yoga teachers and Studio Experience Team members
- Serve as a brand ambassador and business driver in the studio and market
- Lead the teaching team and Studio Coordinator(s)
- Partner with the local sales team to generate membership leads and achieve studio membership goals
- Recruit, train, and onboard teachers and staff according to class count goals
- Meet and exceed targets for membership, teacher training revenue, class count, attendance, client retention, and NPS
- Lead and recruit for Teacher Training programs, including 200HR, 50HR, and intensives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business priorities
- Foster a community of teachers and Studio Experience Team members
- Support studio revenue, profitability, cultural growth, and regional/company initiatives
- Work as the on-call manager as needed and at least one weekend day per week
- Teach a minimum of 4 classes per week in multiple formats
- Communicate and enforce CorePower Yoga policies, initiatives, and protocols
- Partner with analytics to optimize the studio schedule based on student attendance and preferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in studio manager role or leadership equivalent
- Facilitation and training experience required
- 200HR certified preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing community and meeting/exceeding key performance metrics such as membership, teacher training revenue, class count and client satisfaction and retention
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse personalities and styles at different levels of seniority
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines and a solutions-oriented approach; nimble as construction timelines shift for new studios
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily in-studio, with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs
- Availability to work at least one weekend day per week, plus morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday schedules
- Ability to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to teach any class format, sometimes with little to no notice
