About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver an extraordinary experience by curating a welcoming environment for students and peers
  • Enroll and facilitate Teacher Training programs
  • Teach CorePower Yoga classes according to CPY Yoga quality standards
  • Maintain an average of 4 classes taught per week while leading programs and 6 classes per week when not leading programs
  • Attend a minimum of 3 connection classes per week to drive enrollment, training, and yoga quality excellence
  • Spearhead enrollment efforts for teacher training programs and meet enrollment benchmarks
  • Lead weekly program-level enrollment and facilitation meetings
  • Attend and support program enrollment and facilitation training
  • Coordinate and lead in-studio teacher training sessions
  • Participate in facilitation, coaching, and student mentorship for virtual teacher training sessions as needed
  • Support auditions for market needs
  • Partner with the Regional Yoga & Program Manager and studio leadership on coaching in-studio yoga quality and teacher growth
  • Provide support and guidance to students and studio teams
  • Work cross-functionally with the Regional Yoga & Head of Yoga and virtual Teacher Training Team
  • Reports to the Regional Yoga and Program Manager
  • Standard schedule averages 30 hours in-studio and 10 hours remote per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • YA E-RYT 500 Hour Certified required with an active Yoga Alliance registration
  • Current CPR/AED certification required
  • Preferred 2+ years of teaching experience with CPY
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 40+ hours/week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Organized and able to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to lead students in physical activity for a maximum 1.5 hours at a time
  • Ability to withstand exposure to heated classroom for the duration of class
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Must be able to take classes of all CPY formats
  • Ability to commute 100% of schedule within your market and out of state for company events and trainings
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between Teacher Training studios daily
  • Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
