About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate quality and accurate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders
Ensure customer expectations are exceeded
Provide prompt, courteous, and professional responses to customer requests
Master and own execution of low, medium, and high complexity technical projects
Review jobs processed by other team members for accuracy, including class 1–10 orders
Process builder orders, quotations, and inquiries, including clarification, communication, write-up, and expediting
Communicate drawing and shipping schedules with customers and builders
Confirm pricing accurately reflects the purchase order scope of work
Respond to customer, builder, and District Sales Manager inquiries
Analyze and discuss cost and scheduling impacts of potential change orders
Notify other departments of change orders
Price and process change orders promptly while maintaining or improving margins
Collaborate with other departments to meet or exceed customer expectations
Improve knowledge of Cornerstone Building Brands products and procedures
Read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Partner with personnel in other departments to provide required service levels

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mastered ability to own and execute low, medium, and high complexity technical projects
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Mathematical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Advanced understanding of general construction fundamentals and engineering principles
Mastered ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications and take actions accordingly
Ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels, internally and externally
Bachelor’s degree desirable, but not required
Minimum 10+ years industry experience in sales, estimating, engineering, drafting, or project management
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
