About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Oversee daily general ledger activities across multiple ERPs
  • Conduct financial analysis of key metrics and generate reports to support management decisions
  • Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Division and Segment leadership
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Assist with developing and carrying out process improvement initiatives
  • Improve system efficiencies and business practices
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Maintain the general ledger
  • Enhance monthly close, consolidation, and internal reporting processes
  • Assist in overseeing financial operations and supporting business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a progression of responsibilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle R12, NetSuite, JDE, Epicor) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
