About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop strong, lasting member relationships
- Utilize flexibility and effective sales skills to provide one-stop service
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services
- Provide exceptional service and education to members
- Assist members with lending, deposit, and electronic product and service needs
- Assist members with completing membership and Visa loan requests
- Perform teller functions using cash-handling skills and procedural knowledge
- Answer incoming member calls
- Process account transactions and support, including fund transfers, check issuance, payments, and check orders
- Assume responsibility for other projects or duties as required or assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or GED is required
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of sales or relationship building skills is required
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Highly flexible, capable of multi-tasking and working within a fast-paced team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in recommending products and services and meeting appropriate sales and service goals
- Ability to read and comprehend moderate to advanced instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write moderate to advanced correspondence within professional etiquette standards
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations
- Ability to effectively communicate loan decisions and navigate sensitive situations
- Regular use of computer required
- Ability to work in repetitive motion for a lengthy period
- Prolonged standing
