About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior-level foreign exchange expertise to the APAC New Business team
  • Analyse client currency exposures, positions, transactional history and existing trades
  • Develop and recommend tailored FX hedging strategies, structures and products
  • Structure complex solutions using FX forwards, options and derivatives
  • Translate complex client requirements and business exposures into practical FX strategies
  • Provide market insight and strategic guidance across the APAC New Business portfolio
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially viable FX solutions
  • Support client meetings, presentations and strategic discussions
  • Support pricing and execution of complex FX transactions
  • Act as a technical escalation point for Sales and Dealing teams
  • Identify and contribute to revenue-generating opportunities
  • Ensure recommendations and transactions comply with risk, compliance and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate with Sales, Dealing, Risk and other stakeholders
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex or non-standard FX requirements
  • Build FX capability by sharing product knowledge, structuring expertise, market insights and best practices
  • Lead, motivate, develop and empower high-performing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within the FX industry
  • Strong knowledge of FX markets, products, pricing, derivatives and risk management
  • Extensive experience in FX options and structured products
  • Ability to structure, assess and recommend tailored option and derivative strategies
  • Strong understanding of corporate and commercial FX requirements
  • Proven experience analysing client portfolios, currency exposures and existing trades
  • Demonstrated experience working with corporate and commercial FX clients
  • Experience supporting revenue-generating opportunities in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
  • Proven experience providing senior-level technical FX guidance to Sales and/or Dealing teams
  • Strong track record of collaborating across Sales, Dealing, Risk and other stakeholder groups
  • Exceptional people leadership skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Commercial acumen and leadership skills
  • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening may be required
