Senior Events Marketing Manager
Corporate Travel Management (CTM) Group. Plan and deliver North American event marketing programmes, including third-party sponsorships, owned events, and customer experiences .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and deliver North American event marketing programmes, including third-party sponsorships, owned events, and customer experiences
- Develop event marketing plans and activation strategies defining audiences, objectives, messaging, channels, engagement tactics, calls to action, and success measures
- Own end-to-end execution of third-party event programmes, including sponsorship evaluation, venue sourcing, logistics, onsite activation, lead capture, engagement, and post-event follow-up
- Execute event-driven demand generation programmes with audience segmentation, pre-event promotion, content and messaging, onsite engagement, lead capture, post-event nurture, and sales follow-up
- Integrate events into wider campaign activity with clear audience journeys and conversion strategies
- Partner with Sales to identify priority accounts, prospects, and customer audiences and develop targeted event strategies
- Deliver on-time, on-budget events focused on audience engagement, lead quality, pipeline contribution, and marketing ROI
- Build relationships with Sales leadership through joint planning, proactive communication, and reporting
- Manage budgets, vendors, agencies, and external partners
- Collaborate with Demand Generation, Content, and Product Marketing on campaign alignment, messaging, content, storytelling, positioning, and audience relevance
- Use audience and customer insights to inform event concepts, formats, messaging, experiences, and engagement strategies
- Ensure pre-event, onsite, and post-event marketing journeys have defined objectives and conversion points
- Track and report attendance, engagement, lead generation, lead quality, pipeline influence, conversion, and ROI
- Refine event marketing strategy using performance data, campaign insights, customer feedback, audience behaviour, and market trends
- Provide indirect-report performance management, training, coaching, development, feedback, and support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience
- 6+ years’ experience in event marketing or field marketing
- Proven success delivering B2B events that drive pipeline and commercial outcomes
- Strong end-to-end project management capability
- Ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external vendors in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Proven ability to translate strategy into high-impact, engaging event experiences
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring event ROI, pipeline impact, and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise simultaneous requests
- Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and consultative skills
- Ability to read and interpret information
- Ability to do basic math
