About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a Tier 3 resource and escalation point for cloud projects
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to Project Administrators and support Project Engineers
- Stage equipment and software for projects
- Communicate with project management, client contacts, and end users
- Complete project implementations and deployments
- Complete onsite or remote project assignments
- Provide daily project status updates to the Engineering Manager and Project Coordinator
- Conduct project discovery tasks, including site surveys and client needs analysis
- Transition discovery findings and client notes to the Solutions Engineer for project scoping
- Draft client recommendations for review with the Solutions Engineer, vCIO, and/or Client Service Manager
- Update PSA software daily with project progress and assignments
- Assist with post-project quality assurance testing
- Serve as client point of contact for end-user training on newly deployed cloud systems
- Maintain service software documentation and standards
- Collaborate with technical groups and engineers
- Complete additional Integrations team tasks as assigned
- Train team members on new technologies for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support
- Stay current with technology through ongoing education
- Participate in Service Strategy to help design and support client solutions
- Travel regionally, with occasional overnight travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in any IT related field OR equivalent technical certifications (Azure Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, MS 365 Certified, VMWare VCP, etc.)
- 4+ years of professional experience implementing IT services in Office365 and/or MS Azure Cloud
- 5+ years of Windows Server level technology experience, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V
- 6+ years of Microsoft Cloud Solutions/Services experience, including MS Azure and Office365
- Experience creating technical documentation
- Preferred: 1+ year of Linux systems experience
- Preferred: Experience working with security compliance standards
- Preferred: Additional Technical Certifications
- Windows 10 and 11 experience
- Active Directory Management
- Microsoft Exchange
- Group Policy Management
- Core networking disciplines such as DNS and DHCP
- MS Azure and Amazon Web Services
- AWS services including EC2 instances, Route 53, S3 storage, AMIs, Volumes, Snapshots, Security Groups, and VPCs
- Azure services including Virtual Networking, Azure Active Directory, Storage Services, Virtual machines, and Cloud Security
- Microsoft Cloud Solutions including Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Virtualization platforms including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware
- Backup Platforms, SAN/NAS, VoIP technology and equipment, and varied client/server applications
- Top-notch customer service skills
