Key responsibilities & impact

Rapidly develop and deliver client-facing solutions, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Material (BOMs)
Collaborate with Sales and internal technical teams to translate client requirements into clear, supportable architectures aligned with Corsica standards
Consult with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, document assumptions, and adjust solutions as information changes
Partner with delivery and project teams to ensure sales-scoped solutions are actionable, complete, and implementation-ready
Maintain working knowledge of Corsica’s service catalog, core technologies, and evolving offerings
Evaluate new products, services, and solution approaches, including supporting proofs of concept when required
Participate in Sales and Sales Engineering workflows and ensure opportunities are documented and compliant with company processes
Document time, activities, and progress in the PSA
Support the sales team by translating client needs into actionable, client-focused solutions
Make occasional physical movements including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, or kneeling

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of hands-on experience in IT, including engineering, systems, networking, cloud, security, or related technical disciplines
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading pre-sales solution design, scoping, or consulting activities
Preferred: 4+ years in a Solutions Engineer or similar role
Preferred: Experience with Autotask CRM/PSA
Ability to quickly assess technical requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and guide solutions through the sales process
Ability to balance strategic solution design with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, consulting-driven environment
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed assumptions with limited oversight
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive timelines
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours as needed
