About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the execution of retail projects, including store openings, re-openings, rollouts, seasonal updates, and point-of-sale (POS) refurbishments.
  • Plan and coordinate projects from needs assessment and ordering through production and delivery to final installation.
  • Manage external suppliers, agencies, and other service providers to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
  • Coordinate the procurement and availability of retail furniture, displays, inserts, components, and spare parts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and future requirements to ensure materials are available on time.
  • Implement approved retail concepts and planograms in collaboration with Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing, and Category Management.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for retail partners regarding installations, replacements, repairs, and other POS requirements.
  • Coordinate quantities, orders, delivery dates, and installations across multiple locations.
  • Manage repairs, replacements, and modifications of existing retail elements, and develop pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.
  • Track project progress, timelines, budgets, order quantities, and delivery status.
  • Identify delays and bottlenecks at an early stage.
  • Prioritize tasks and find solutions for short-notice schedule changes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training or a degree, ideally in retail, retail management, project management, or a comparable field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in retail project management, retail operations, POS management, or a comparable coordination role.
  • Experience with operational projects in brick-and-mortar retail, such as store openings, rollouts, POS updates, shopfitting, or the implementation of displays and retail furniture.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a structured manner.
  • Ideally, experience working with external suppliers, agencies, or production partners, as well as with ordering, production, delivery, and installation processes.
  • Confident planning and tracking of operational requirements, including figures, quantities, and inventory levels.
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Proactive, reliable communication skills and the ability to bring internal and external stakeholders together.
  • Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English.
  • Comfortable working in an international, cross-functional environment.
