About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead commercial efforts for the Countable PCR platform in the United Kingdom and Nordics
  • Identify and nurture leads, converting opportunities into lasting partnerships
  • Represent Countable Labs at meetings, demonstrations, scientific conferences, seminars, and events
  • Develop customer relationships and ensure products are used effectively after the sale
  • Collaborate with field application scientists and product managers on technical calls and demonstrations
  • Communicate the platform’s value proposition, features, and competitive advantages
  • Gather customer feedback to support continuous product improvement
  • Provide monthly KPI updates and accurate sales forecasts for instruments, consumables, and assay service projects
  • Manage active leads, opportunities, and customer relationships in SFDC using dashboards
  • Attend regional conferences and meetings and organize local seminars and events to build relationships and strengthen the opportunity funnel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Based in the United Kingdom
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in a relevant sales role
  • Experience selling new technologies, particularly instrumentation and consumables
  • Experience in biopharma sales, especially cell and gene therapy and oncology
  • Experience in clinical diagnostic sales
  • Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision-makers
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight trips
  • Home location in or near London, Oxford, or Cambridge preferred
