About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead day-to-day management of CRM, email, and direct mail projects from briefing through deployment and post-campaign reporting
- Translate marketing strategies into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables across creative, data, and production teams
- Oversee campaign setup, QA, approvals, and deployment processes
- Manage creative development, data targeting, list management, personalization, and production workstreams
- Partner with strategy, data, CRM operations, development teams, and external vendors
- Maintain proactive communication with client stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and dependencies
- Track budgets, timelines, and resourcing while resolving delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with OEM brand standards, privacy requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Support performance measurement and continuous optimization with analytics and strategy teams
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and CRM campaign best practices
- Ensure controls, quality deliverables, and milestones are met
- Develop contracts and design innovative delivery teams
- Evaluate and improve delivery practices and methodology
- Create integrated timelines across agency and client stakeholder teams
- Build internal and external stakeholder relationships to meet program outcomes and exceed client expectations
- Contribute to new business and pitch initiatives
- Serve as the main client interface on projects
- Clarify strategic requirements, manage expectations, and communicate roadblocks and resolutions
- Communicate across a wide range of internal and external positions, personalities, and roles
- Take ownership of projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and against objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8 years of project management experience in CRM, email, or direct marketing, ideally within an agency or automotive environment
- Proven track record managing cross-channel campaigns from strategy through execution and reporting
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms and tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or similar
- Experience coordinating with data teams on segmentation, targeting, and personalization logic
- Familiarity with direct mail production workflows and timelines
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience managing budgets, scopes, and vendor relationships
- Collaborative leadership in complex, cross-functional environments
- Ability to understand, balance, and manage the interplay between people, processes, and systems
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hire
