About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, code, test, modify, and debug computer software under broad supervision
Create and maintain integrations within the Workday cloud-based software platform
Develop integrations with third-party vendors and other state agencies
Research, design, deliver, and maintain integration solutions in response to emerging Workday technologies, customer requests, and operational changes
Analyze, design, develop, test, document, implement, train users on, and support complex business and enterprise software solutions
Design, develop, and implement Workday solutions focused on Human Capital Management, Finance, and Procurement
Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations
Collaborate with Officers, Directors, Managers, and teams to understand integration needs
Stay updated with Workday releases and new features
Adhere to data governance policies and best practices
Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources
Document integration requirements, specifications, and processes
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using EIB, Workday Studio, web services, and core connectors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of experience in Workday integrations development with strong experience in HCM and Financial Module integration
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ability to collaborate with functional stakeholders to assess integration needs, gather specifications/requirements, and design integrations
Experience developing Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
Experience with Web Services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, WS standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java
Knowledge of integration security, including ISU, PGP Key, and MFA
Demonstrated ability with data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields as they relate to integrations
Experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM and Financials
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills and collaboration abilities
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
