About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoot events to ensure the appropriate service provider is dispatched
  • Coordinate and manage fleet-operation logistics
  • Assess and assign all open events
  • Verify proper authorization before dispatching events
  • Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider for requested repairs
  • Advise customers of estimated arrival times and follow their requirements
  • Inform the supervisor on duty about service-provider delays or repair problems
  • Address problems and customer inquiries
  • Provide market coverage through variable work hours in a 24/7/365 operation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance)
  • Alternatively, an advanced degree or certification in a related discipline (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology), or 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking
  • Preferred: Degree in related discipline or industry experience
  • Availability for variable schedules in a 24/7/365 environment
  • Availability for weekend, second (evening/nights), or third (overnight) shifts
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
