About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of external clients
- Own client relationships and advocate for client needs internally
- Drive client and revenue retention and product utilization
- Identify customer interest in additional products and expand or upsell product functionality
- Collaborate with other Performance Managers to provide a seamless client experience
- Manage the progress and results of assigned accounts independently
- Conduct onsite visits and virtual screen-share engagements
- Help clients improve business processes and meet objectives
- Develop action plans for at-risk clients to retain relationships
- Identify barriers and core problems preventing clients from meeting objectives
- Provide guidance on product capabilities and business objectives
- Monitor and analyze account performance and trends
- Monitor client system red flags and emergencies and take immediate action
- Improve existing processes and systems through client engagement
- Maintain knowledge of product releases and enhancements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field; alternatives include a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience, a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years’ experience in a related field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Safe driver
- Preference for at least 3 years’ recent retail automotive experience in a General Manager, General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, BDC Manager, or similar capacity
- Proven ability to influence change inside a dealership
- Direct experience desking deals in a retail automotive environment
- Working knowledge and experience in retail automotive and software utilization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, screen-share technologies, and relevant software systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels at an automotive dealership or dealer group
- Ability to work remotely and nearly autonomously under moderate supervision
- Ability to learn complex technology and basic web-based systems knowledge
- Ability to travel potentially up to 50%, including in-market, overnight, and occasional weekend travel
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship
