About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive revenue growth by developing new business across the territory
- Guide customers through complex fleet challenges
- Maintain strong relationships from first conversation through handoff to account management
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for fleet management solutions and related services
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the customer base and enter new markets
- Lead complex sales cycles using consultative and Challenger-based approaches
- Partner with fleet customers to understand operational needs, pain points and business objectives
- Deliver tailored proposals and presentations communicating customer value
- Maintain an accurate pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce and provide reliable forecasting
- Share actionable insights on industry trends, market shifts and emerging fleet challenges
- Prepare and present customer reports by collecting and analyzing key data
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experiences and long-term account growth
- Own $5–10M in new business development and manage accounts until transition to the account management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in a related field
- Alternative qualification: master's degree with up to 2 years of related experience
- Alternative qualification: Ph.D. with up to 1 year of related experience
- Alternative qualification: 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Valid driver's license and strong driving record
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 80%, across multimarket and multistate territories
- Experience in trucking or fleet management sales preferred
- Proven success prospecting, developing new business and growing existing accounts preferred
- Strong communication, customer service and relationship-building skills preferred
- Working knowledge of effective sales and marketing techniques preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future
