About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new business across the assigned territory and drive revenue growth
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for fleet management solutions and related services
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the customer base and enter new markets
  • Lead complex sales cycles using consultative and Challenger-based approaches
  • Build executive-level relationships and guide customers through complex fleet challenges
  • Understand customers’ operational needs, pain points, and business objectives
  • Deliver tailored proposals and presentations communicating solution value
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce and provide reliable forecasting
  • Share insights on industry trends, market shifts, and emerging fleet challenges
  • Prepare and present customer reports using collected and analyzed data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experiences and long-term account growth
  • Own $5–10M in new business development and manage accounts until transition to account management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in a related field, or an alternative combination: master’s degree with up to 2 years of related experience; Ph.D. with up to 1 year; or 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Valid driver’s license and strong driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 80%, across multimarket and multistate territories
  • Experience in trucking or fleet management sales preferred
  • Proven success prospecting, developing new business, and growing existing accounts preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills preferred
  • Working knowledge of effective sales and marketing techniques preferred
  • Pre-employment drug test required
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in future
