About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead day-to-day activation of paid media campaigns across programmatic display and video, paid social, paid search, and account-based marketing
  • Build and launch campaigns in demand-side and self-serve buying platforms
  • Configure line items, inventory targeting, frequency caps, pacing, objectives, placements, audiences, delivery settings, keywords, ad copy, extensions, negative keywords, and bid strategies
  • Configure retargeting, lookalike, intent-based, and first-party audience targeting
  • Coordinate creative specifications, tag delivery, and landing page readiness
  • Perform pre-launch quality assurance for targeting, budgets, dates, creative rendering, tracking, and landing pages
  • Own campaign taxonomy, naming standards, launch checklists, and version control
  • Document build procedures and platform-specific configuration guides
  • Monitor pacing, delivery, and efficiency against plan
  • Execute bid adjustments, budget shifts, audience refinement, placement exclusions, and other optimizations
  • Create and execute tests across ad copy, creative, audiences, and landing pages
  • Escalate delivery, inventory quality, and measurement issues with recommended actions
  • Build and maintain negative keyword and placement exclusion lists
  • Produce recurring campaign reports and written performance commentary
  • Design and maintain paid media dashboards
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and provide improvement recommendations
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics on conversion tracking and attribution
  • Collaborate with channel experts, Product and Brand Marketing, Trafficking, MarTech, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify platform features, ad formats, and industry trends
  • Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for specialist teammates and contract resources
  • Contribute to the paid media playbook

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field, or an alternative combination: master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field
  • Hands-on campaign build and activation experience across programmatic, paid social, and paid search
  • Experience managing campaigns in a demand-side platform such as DV360, including line-item configuration and in-flight optimization
  • Experience supporting multiple brands or product lines in a matrixed enterprise environment
  • Skilled analytical thinking and campaign data interpretation
  • Attention to detail for configuration, tracking, and creative errors
  • Process discipline for taxonomy, QA, and documentation
  • Ability to explain campaign performance and trade-offs to non-technical marketing partners
  • Ability to manage concurrent campaign builds against firm launch dates with minimal guidance
  • Proficiency with DV360 or comparable demand-side platforms, Google Ads or Search Ads 360, Meta, LinkedIn, and account-based marketing platforms such as DemandScience, Terminus, or 6sense
  • Working knowledge of ad serving, tag and pixel behavior, and conversion tracking configuration
  • Fluency in CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS, viewability, reach, and frequency
  • Experience building reporting in Tableau, DOMO, or Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with audience activation from a customer data platform such as Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
  • B2B paid media experience preferred
