About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accurately and efficiently process vehicle titles
  • Verify title information is correct
  • Interact with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues
  • Develop knowledge of US Federal, State, and Territory title information, internal policies and procedures, and the NextGear standard for customer service
  • Review titles for negotiability and sign and reassign titles on behalf of clients
  • Complete applications for new titles on behalf of clients as needed
  • Facilitate lien perfection on NextGear Capital financed collateral when required
  • Release NextGear Capital liens on collateral paid in full according to policy and procedure
  • Communicate with internal and external clients via email, ServiceNOW tickets, and phone calls
  • Answer routine questions, follow guidelines, and use judgment based on experience
  • Partner with senior Title Specialists and Titles & Records leadership on complex title issues
  • Follow instructions and maintain workflow standards with integrity
  • Attain production, quality, and metric standards
  • Adhere to NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive policies and procedures
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as directed by Titles & Records leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must display effective communication skills and customer service attitude
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must reside in California, Washington, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio or Arizona
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
