About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for Early Start clients alongside expert clinicians
  • Provide consultation services tailored to each child’s needs
  • Work with Program Supervisors to recommend strategies, communication supports, and meaningful goals
  • Deliver one-on-one speech and language therapy when needed
  • Target vocabulary, sentence structure, articulation, social communication, and feeding/swallowing when appropriate
  • Track hours accurately, document progress, and submit reports on time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current California SLP license, kept up to date
  • At least one year of experience working with young children with developmental delays
  • Clear background and driving record
  • Current TB clearance
  • BLS certification
  • Any other required health and safety credentials, or willingness to obtain them
