Key responsibilities & impact

Negotiate sales opportunities
Create basic piping layouts and gather project details
Manage projects from initiation through delivery
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty
Identify technical or operational challenges, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
Analyze customer needs to develop appropriate product designs
Operate and understand relevant equipment and systems
Adapt technology and equipment to meet customer requirements
Perform basic structural or piping analysis
Evaluate costs, benefits, and impacts of potential actions
Understand system behavior and how operating conditions affect results
Identify performance indicators and determine required corrective actions
Manage personal time and coordinate team activities
Plan and track project expenditures
Motivate, develop, and guide team members
Secure and manage equipment, materials, and facilities needed for project success
Use databases to organize and report information
Create and manipulate graphics
Develop and deliver presentations
Build and maintain spreadsheets with charts and data analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Engineering or related field
2–3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of OSHA and related safety regulations
Effective problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Experience using databases to organize and report information
Ability to create and manipulate graphics
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets with charts and data analysis
Ability to use measuring and drafting tools
Experience using OpEx/CBS tools preferred
Demonstrated success in facilitating operational changes preferred
Ability to interpret process and product specifications preferred
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards preferred
Additional background in safety and industrial hygiene regulations preferred
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and business development activities
