About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a direct financial partner to accounting and overhead department heads
- Provide analytical support for overhead costs and Capex spend
- Review financial data to link financial results to operational performance drivers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget-versus-actual variance analysis
- Partner with department leaders to track spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Track, record, and summarize capital expenditures across business units
- Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports to business stakeholders
- Support month-end close activities with the accounting team
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecast updates
- Analyze KPIs and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with executive and board-level presentation materials
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
- Help maintain and improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes
- Assist with process implementation and manage financial initiatives
- Build collaborative relationships across the organization
- Review large volumes of data and produce clear, understandable findings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
- Financial systems experience preferred; Oracle’s Essbase a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system preferred
- Strong FP&A analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work with a team as well as on one’s own
- Ability to transform raw data into clear and actionable findings
