About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inspect all local delivery items for product quality, consistency, characteristics, damage, dye lot, and finish
  • Coordinate with furniture shop technicians on product repairs and touch-ups before delivery
  • Communicate with the delivery department Lead regarding product inspections and delivery workload status daily
  • Assist merchandise handlers with organization and verification of local delivery items
  • Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets; perform general facility and product-line housekeeping
  • Rotate through departments as needed to meet business demands
  • Participate in ongoing training for technology upgrades and new systems
  • Complete tasks assigned by leadership to achieve daily productivity and quality goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Possess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position
  • Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety guidelines outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic English Language proficiency
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the US
