About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process incoming and outgoing packages, including curbside pickup, ship-from-store, and buy-online-pickup-in-store orders
Prepare the stockroom for inventory and perform assigned inventory duties
Perform accurate stock checks and maintain an organized, efficient stockroom
Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor
Ensure products and displays are appropriately stocked and available
Provide service in selling, customer service, visual merchandising, and teamwork
Greet customers, answer questions, process payments, and involve management when appropriate
Support store safety standards and training
Follow loss prevention, security, and safety guidelines
Support store management with accountability for profitability and operational excellence
Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge
Communicate promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives
Promote the brand through creative customer activities and demonstrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Good reading and written language skills (English)
Strong communication skills
Basic arithmetic

Telephone presence
Data entry skills
Ability to use general office equipment, computer and printer, POS system, AS400 system, company email system, learning management system, telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine, SKU and tagger guns, tape machine, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck/dolly, baler, calculator, and electronic two-way radio with earpiece
Ability to work in a flexible environment, shift quickly as business evolves, and focus on continuous learning
Creative problem-solving and solutions-oriented teamwork focus
Customer service experience preferred
Retail experience preferred
