About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support management of the organization’s job leveling framework, job families, grades, and career ladders
  • Audit job structure and pay ranges and recommend corrections
  • Draft job descriptions and partner with HRBPs and recruiting to maintain the job description library
  • Evaluate roles for FLSA status, classification, and level
  • Administer job and salary structures in Workday
  • Administer the Salary.com pay benchmarking system, audit data exchanges, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate remediation with HRIS and vendors
  • Assess, test, implement, and train users on new compensation tools and software
  • Document compensation policies and processes
  • Provide job evaluation, architecture, incentive design, and pay benchmarking analysis and recommendations
  • Participate in industry compensation surveys and use results to inform pricing and structure decisions
  • Benchmark and price new roles, promotions, and reclassifications using market data
  • Track and document job changes to support compensation KPIs and job structure reporting
  • Conduct data and trend analysis for compensation initiatives and prepare salary and bonus planning materials
  • Support compensation dashboards and analytics to assess pay competitiveness and program effectiveness
  • Monitor compensation legislation and provide practical guidance to HR and business leaders
  • Support audits and documentation for wage and hour, FLSA, and pay equity compliance
  • Partner with Legal to interpret compensation regulations and recommend changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in compensation
  • Experience in Workday Comp or other HR Comp systems preferred
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act and the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers
  • Must be a regular full-time employee to receive the stated benefits package
