Champion scalable, high-business-impact features and strategies across domains
Define and document happy-path diagrams for personas and scenarios
Collaborate with business partners, Product Managers, designers, and engineering teams to define product requirements and direction
Drive technical innovation and improve software-system design and architecture using leading-edge technologies and practices
Develop expertise across business domains to align technology strategies with business outcomes
Work with engineering leadership to develop and execute company technical and business strategy
Incorporate and lead AI strategies and cutting-edge best practices
Perform technical due diligence and architectural assessments of third-party technologies and solutions
Experiment, test ideas, validate assumptions, reach conclusions, and recommend solutions
Document standards, best practices, and engineering artifacts
Lead continuous learning and process-improvement activities
Participate in hiring and mentor team members
Lead customer delivery engagements and provide partner support for large-scale solutions and complex issues
Analyze data and analytical capabilities to inform product decisions and measure product-change impact
Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with current technology standards and practices
Identify and resolve technical issues and improve serviceability
Remain compliant with policies, processes, and legal guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience
Demonstrated experience in driving technically sound data solutions that support business goals
Strong technical background in BI platforms and Data Warehouses
Proficient in delving into the technical capabilities of vendors to assess strengths, weaknesses, and make recommendations based on vendors’ ability to meet business objectives
Adept at defining technology vision, developing roadmaps, and prioritizing features based on customer needs and market trends
Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with best practices
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with engineering and relevant teams
Experience leading customer delivery engagements and/or providing partner support for large-scale solutions and complex issues
Ability to analyze data and analytical capabilities to inform product decisions and measure the impact of product changes
Experience adopting agile development methodologies to manage product development
Ability to act as a translator between technical and business stakeholders
Financial services or FinTech industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of BI end-to-end development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience in product planning, roadmapping, and prioritization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Required degree earned at an institution accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
