About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strengthen the squad as a senior full-stack engineer
- Work on both sides of lead generation: customer experiences and the services that support them
- Own the journey from the landing-page click through to lead distribution
- Develop and maintain websites, blogs, lead-generation forms, partner APIs, and B2B integrations
- Work across four products: auto-secured loans, home equity, insurance, and B2B
- Migrate the production API contract from GraphQL to REST without interrupting lead generation
- Modernize services with technical debt and limited alignment with current best practices
- Build B2B integrations that accommodate variations in partner volume, format, and reliability
- Operate across the Brazilian, Mexican, and Spanish markets, taking different lead-generation rules into account
- Engage in pair programming and lead team rituals
- Mentor less senior professionals
- Permanently resolve observability technical debt by creating accurate alerts and traceable logs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full-stack experience with a primary focus on backend development
- Experience and strong technical foundation in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Hasura, REST, Webflow, AWS, and Datadog
- Genuine autonomy from day one
- Serve as a technical and cultural reference for the team
- Mentor less senior professionals, including mid-level and junior engineers
- Lead day-to-day rituals, such as daily stand-ups, in the absence of direct leadership
- Work through pair programming
- Prioritize observability by creating accurate alerts, traceable logs, and permanent solutions for recurring errors
- Investigative mindset and the ability to quickly learn the business domain
- Communicate problems and technical decisions clearly when working directly with external partners
- Previous experience in the communications channels sector is not required
