About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and implementation of revenue management and commercial strategy initiatives across multiple properties
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and analyze KPIs to assess strategy effectiveness and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with general managers, sales directors, and marketing managers on integrated sales and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to adjust pricing strategies and optimize revenue
  • Analyze historical data, booking patterns, and demand forecasts for pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution decisions
  • Use revenue management systems and tools to generate reports, track performance metrics, and identify optimization opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OTAs, GDS, and other distribution partners
  • Collaborate with property teams to negotiate and manage contracts with group clients, corporate accounts, and other key accounts
  • Monitor emerging trends, industry developments, and technology advancements and incorporate relevant insights into area-wide initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management and commercial strategy development, with a track record of success in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proficiency in revenue management software, commercial strategy tools, and CRM systems such as SynXis, Duetto, and Concerto
  • Experience in revenue management for both independent and IHG branded properties is highly preferred
  • Experience managing revenue strategy for multiple properties or regions within a hotel or hospitality group is highly preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership qualities with ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, revenue management principles, and commercial strategy best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management or commercial strategy is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a diverse and multicultural hospitality environment is preferred
  • Willing to travel as needed
