About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in line with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, balance work, and other appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and recovery strategies.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Communicate and coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team.
  • Follow Nebraska licensing requirements, HIPAA, and professional standards of practice.
  • Take part in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Physical Therapist license in Nebraska, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Able to work in a hybrid setup in Nebraska.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a care team.
  • Willingness to learn and continue developing clinical skills.
  • CPR/BLS certification (may be required depending on care setting).
  • Clinical rotations, internships, or experience in outpatient, home health, geriatric, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings is a plus.
