About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Attract, evaluate, and secure highly qualified travel nurses
Maintain staffing levels aligned with client needs
Maintain a pipeline of skilled candidates to support company growth and reputation
Use targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced travel nurses
Highlight competitive pay, benefits, assignment variety, company reputation, and support
Determine candidate experience, education, active licensure, and active certifications
Develop a database of pre-qualified candidates for 30-, 60-, and 90-day deployment
Nurture relationships with potential nurses using Bullhorn tools
Mine and engage potential leads using external database platforms
Work with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand hospital requirements
Ensure candidates promptly meet specialty skills and licensure needs
Track handoffs and follow up with leads within 60 minutes
Create complete candidate files, including work history with gaps explained, skills checklist, references, education, Nursys and certifications, availability, licensed states, and shift preference
Hand off candidates to Recruiters through round-robin assignment and manager alignments
Complete hot handoff sheets and schedule aligned recruiter follow-up calls
Maintain daily leadership tracking on engagement
Maintain weekly tracking on submissions

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience; 2+ years preferred
1 year of office experience
Strong computer/technological skills using Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience determining nursing experience, education, active licensure, and active certifications
Ability to ensure candidates meet specialty skills and licensure needs
Experience using Bullhorn tools
Experience using external database platforms
Experience working with Recruiters and Account Managers
Experience with candidate tracking, handoffs, follow-up, file creation, references, education records, Nursys, certifications, availability, licensed states, shift preferences, and recruiter alignment
